About

Philip is a Product Design Leader specialised in UX, UI and Visual Design. Over the last 15 years he has worked within multi-disciplinary teams to create, design and deliver proof-of-concept work, testable prototypes, elegant user interfaces and robust design systems. Working in both hands-on roles or within a leadership position Philip works best when he is working collaboratively in small focused teams.

Philip has worked predominantly on consumer facing products across a wide range of industries including; Media & Entertainment, Lifestyle & Culture, Sport, Energy, Telecom and Web3. Philip has had the privilege of working with many truly talented people which have helped shaped his work, process and outlook. He has held Design Lead, Director & Creative Director positions at trusted product design agencies such as Ostmodern, Idean (now Frog), Signal Noise (part of The Economist Group) and Reaktor (New York and Amsterdam). More recently he was Head of Design at SuperRare Labs, a leading online art gallery.

Currently Philip is a Founding Partner at Hi Shine, a progressive digital product and brand design studio.
