The Zen visual identity was designed to work at the intersection of entertainment, streetwear, social and retail.
The playful angles of the Z became the device for the wider visual language.



Video was an important part of the Zen experience.
Zen's video playback became "shop-able", combining entertainment and ecommerce.

Discovery focuses on the history of each sneaker.
For launch the team selected 20 pairs of tier 1 sneakers. Each PDP was editorially curated to create a shopping experience like no other.

Zen enabled Zappos! to test their award winning customer service and logistics with a new product and content UX, this meant Zappos! could approach Nike and Adidas for their tier 1 sneakers, something they struggled to do before.
